and that they don’t want to pay him. Yeah, they’re going to move him because they don’t want to pay him.
That might be one where I wonder if they end up doing that because that’s the best they can get. They the the report was they didn’t want Rossi in a purka trade because they didn’t want another undersized forward. Right.
Mhm. But what what about a month later if you’re trying to do this by for a top six forward move and there’s no other idea available to you. So it’s now it’s not, you know, well, we want a big top six forward. We want a a good a good, you know, veteran top six forward. Well, maybe that’s not out there for you. And if you search and search and search, maybe it’s more avail maybe it’s there’s a realization of we’re not getting that guy. No. So,
all right, we didn’t we would have liked to do better than him a month ago, but now I’m looking around and like I could take a first round pick over here. I could take a prospect over there. Or I’ve got this guy who is smaller than what I like, but he’s he put up 60 points last year as a 22y old. like how much better can I really do than that? And there’s a there’s a thing with him in being, you know, not taking well to being benched in the playoffs and how Minnesota didn’t trust him in the playoffs and like that’s a reason not to acquire him, which I just kind of like roll my eyes at. Like I’ll worry about him in the playoffs when I get to the freaking playoffs. I look at him and like that’s a guy that his team wants to trade him and I don’t see any other top six forward that’s available anywhere else in the league. Yeah. G give me a name. He’s got no trade protection either. Give me a name that’s better than that one. That makes more sense than that one.

Reunite Rossi & Quinn from their days in Ottawa ( OHL) ? Would Minnesota have interest in Byram & Krebs ?
I don’t know if people remember, but his draft year they marveled at this kids workouts and his legs look like tree trunks. I would take him any day of the week. On top of that I hope someone isn’t happy with being benched.
