Cristall Shines at Camp + Capitals Sign 3 Key Depth Pieces | Alexeyev Joins Rival Penguins! 🧨

Andrew Cristall is making a serious push for the Washington Capitals roster after dominating in the WHL last season. Back at development camp for the third time, he’s now taking on a leadership role — even sitting in Alex Ovechkin’s locker stall. Cristall has bulked up, sharpened his defensive game, and is treating training camp like a clean slate with NHL expectations in sight.

Meanwhile, the Capitals made several key organizational moves, signing Louie Belpedio, Calle Rosen, and Graeme Clarke to two-way deals to reinforce the Hershey Bears, who lost several core players. Longtime goalie Hunter Shepard signed with Ottawa, and former first-round pick Alex Alexeyev shocked Caps fans by joining the rival Pittsburgh Penguins — reuniting with former Bears coach Todd Nelson.

  1. So the players leaving get opportunities elsewhere. I guess the one I miss the most is Mangiapane. As to Bear, I did not drink the koolaid when he was signed. For me it was wait and see. There was a reason the Canucks didn't keep him. Maybe the Islanders will be a good fit for him. I don't have any feeling for any of the others either. Now is the time for the players we will have to start preparing for their opportunities next year. Especially the young players. LETS GO CAPS!!

  2. Ehlers sign with Carl. 8.5 m a season. Shows facts being run by dems and FA's going to state free tax states. In past few years only players we got by draft or trade. Not many big names players come to DC. Cristall big ?? being so young and size to handle real men in NHL. the last one i can think is Bobby Carpenter 19 years old and on the sports cover. If anyone sign maybe the guy from the trade deadline
