James Hagens: Bruins’ Most Talented Draft Pick In Years?
well he’s an offensive dynamic player he’s been the best player in his peer group as Donnie Sweenies like to call it uh he had a terrific year I thought at BC for a freshman people thought the production might have been higher with the players that he was playing with first power play quality team one of the best teams in the country why didn’t he have 50 points but I think as a true 18-year-old as a freshman playing in Hockey East I thought he had a terrific year

no I would agree with that i I think his season and how it was evaluated he you know they I guess he was being compared to a Mlin Celebrini on some level but but I thought he had a really good season he scored some big goals like in the in the regionals in New Hampshire he scored the game-winning goal in the first game he scored big goals for this team uh he he’s dynamic and and he has offensive flare he’s a centerman he drives he holds on to pucks he likes the puck he has a lot of confidence and and again he’s been one of the best players in the world at the 2000 at the as an 18-year-old so uh lots of upside here
