No we don’t get Eklund, Smith, Aitchinson, Bear or carbonneau. We get Ben fn Kindel. Then we trade the second pick to Philly. Way to start the rebuild Dubas. Wouldn’t trust you to draft McKenna at this point.
Sometime in the early '10s, I saw a blog some random person had. If memory serves they were a Canucks fan. Regardless, they re-drafted a few drafts about five or six years after the fact. But it was only for the Canucks, and only players who were left unpicked when the Canucks picked were eligible for his re-draft. But the twist is, the blogger didn't actually make the picks, his cat did.
He set up a bunch of randomly numbered blocks and some cat treats. Whichever number the cat ate off of, he marked that down as the pick. Guess what? The cat drafted better than the real Canucks. At least if you're assuming the games played, goals, etc. for the players all stayed the same. Now, you might just say that's an indictment of the Canucks, but the point is nobody knows how this is going to turn out. Relax.
Tried to watch it after a challenging week of hard work. Penguins started picking at 2:30AM while I was fast asleep and I missed the whole thing. Can't comment whether this is a good draft or not, but I feel like Dubas trolled everyone by going his own way.
Dudes, talk me off the ledge here. HOW DO YOU PASS on Eklund and Aitcheson and trade down for what will likely be two bottom sixers if they even make it???

Watching the interview with their player personnel guy, who didnt seem all that enthused with the draft class. Idk Maybe hes just a low energy guy
