Doug Armstrong comments on signing free agent Pius Suter
St. Louis Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong discusses the decision to add center Pius Suter to the roster in free agency with a two year, $8.25 million contract ($4.125 million AAV).
Suter is a really good versatile defensive 3c who is also good on the pk. Although he had 25 goals last year you should realistically expect around 15 goals/30 points. He achieved a career high in goals last year because injuries and the Miller trade forced him to play first line minutes. Another good pick up by Armstrong in a market where centers were in high demand and not that many were available
He needs to go. He just keeps going with mediocrity. Until he wins back to back Cups ,and then continues to improve off The Cup wins, he is just mediocre. At best.
