  1. This will either be an "everything clicks" year where the offense scores like everyone thought they would last year. Or it'll be another top 5 draft pick. Trotz isn't going to do backflips to try to make the playoffs. They'll either play better or they'll be unwatchable by November.

  2. Emma/Robby–nice that you are picking up the slack for AK47., It's kind of a tale of two defensemen contracts when you consider the Hague and Perbix contracts. It's interesting that Hague is getting that kind of contract…not SURE if that is a wise investment (I'm saying now). It's kind of surprising to me that there was so much interest in Hague and honestly that he is slotted in for Top 4 minutes. Defense defenseman? Yes..offense? I'm not so sure on the offensive upside though (like yeah–totally not seeing it). Perbix I like I think he's was a value pickup….I like Sissons Iot of love for the guy and all the things he's contributed to within the organization but I think moving on from him is something that was necessary for a few reasons—as a bottom 6er and a guy that wins face off he has value but beyond those things? I don't think it's going to hurt this club to lose him going forward. Good luck to him!

  3. Our youth is so overlooked. We have an unreal prospect pool, its going to be an exciting next few years! As long as we utlize them, id be happy to see development & another top 5 pick lol

  4. The more I've thought about Martin, the more I like the pick, and I am on the same page as you and Robby.

The player who I'd like to see Martin become in terms of production is actually Nick Suzuki. He isn't elite, but he is more than capable of being a 1C and easily elevates those around him by just playing his game.
