  1. As a Kings fan, i loved what he did last year when we got him. Hes a great guy, locker room presence and fit for the team that desperately needed PP help – seriously check out the before and after the deadline stats if the LAK PP.
That said, it's not an expensive play and it honestly felt ezpected to resign him here. Anither strong season and itll be interesting to see what happens but Kempe takes priority.

All of this is to say, it is nice to have him back but he really cannot be the focal point of our offseason. Besides bringing in a 2/3 D, and a backup goalie perhaps, the team needs one big move – a Kyrou? Robertson? Ehlers? Maybe even Boeser? Losing Marner was tough. The team is states to be in a Win-Now mode according to Ken, as he stated what his intentions were when he was signed. Thats gonna have to get going to compete with Vegas and EDM.

Kuz is great. He fit well here last year and isnt a risky signing to bring back and prove he can do it for a year. But he isnt the big fish, and that'll be up to Ken to find.

  2. Just to correct you – his 2nd contract with Vancouver was 2 years and was signed by Patrick Allvin in 2023.

  3. kuz was fine the d-zone with LA – even started back-checking pretty hard some games. more of the same from him and both parties should be happy to extend next summer.

  4. Kuzy needs to be a 60-70 point scorer. LA doesn’t have any offense compared to other teams, and I know that’s not the game they play. That said, LA only had 3 players score over 60 points, 2- 30 goal scorers, and and 3 – 20 goal scorers. I’m glad scoring is finally going up for this LA team, but it’s still not enough to keep up in this League
