  1. Encouraged that Drury has learned. Some very savy moves. Hope level up for the rebuild. Just need the defense to continue to get tougher in front of Igor. Then tough guys up front. And then a star to lead them to a cup. Step 1 of many Drury gets an A.

  2. Now that K'Andre Miller is gone (good for him and the Rangers) and Chris Kreider is out (he’ll be missed, but it’s the right move), there’s still one big question mark: Mika Zibanejad. Can he reset mentally for the new season? What version of Mika will we see: a revitalized leader or someone still stuck in a funk? Mental blocks aren’t easy to shake. My bet: something in the middle, with limited production. This team isn’t a true Cup contender – yet.

  3. I’m beyond stoked that Miller is finally gone. A 1st 2nd and a throw in for a defenseman that can’t play d is unbeatable. Hated to see Kreider go but it was time.

  4. The Rangers won't see a cup for another 54 years. Fire Drury. This is the Emile Francis disaster all over again. I'm done. I saw the cup in 93-94, I doubt I will see another.

  5. Rangers dodged a bullet with the haul Carolina was willing to give up for K.Miller who the Rangers didn't want to commit a long term deal to. Gavrikov in and K.Miller who has regressed and who is a turnover machine Out… is a win for the Rangers. Cuylle signed is relief too

  6. God – Miller making more than Slavin, would be pretty brutal if someone comes up with a kick ass offer sheet for Slavin

  7. Ranger fans are understandibly down on K'Andre, but at 25 & with his size & tools, i think he thrives in Carolina. Whose gonna play his 20+ minutes a night?

  8. As long as Mika and his cap busting salary is still on this team they are going nowhere. Big mistake to keep him.

  9. I don’t see how this roster is any better than last year’s roster. We should play better than last year, but I’m not gonna foolishly come out and say that the personnel on this team is any better than last year I’m trying to sell hope for the organization and tickets. Defensively where we got older acquiring a person who scored five goals last year playing along the side a person who has also declin over the last two years in Adam Fox. The biggest issue is that we have new coaching staff that hopefully will be the change, and our young prospects will be a little bit more experienced and older. Only losing teams get excited on day one free agency.
