  1. I dont dislike any of the picks individually, but it is annoying that we are kicking this “right shot defenseman” can down the road again. Especially when there were two quality choices at 30.

  2. Overall, I'm going B+. It was a weird one, focused on high ceiling moonshot type players.

Misa obviously who we all wanted there.

Ravensbergen as the potentially best goalie in the draft over a Fiddler or BRZ, likely second pair guys, makes sense to me, too. Definitely a hard choice and I'm glad I'm not the one make those types of decisions.

Then the giant Beijing born Wang, WILDLY raw, only played half a season in the OHL after starting in junior a during his draft year. He can be special, or he can never play an NHL game. Excited to see him develop and really hopeful.

  3. if they were truly picking BPA, then fiddler and henry b (who happen to be big RD that, we need most, on the surface) are ranked higher than both raven (the goalie we got) and wang. now, maybe we flip what we picked for an even better D down the line. but please dont say you drafted BPA when you didn't. central scouting rankings and all others say you didn't.

  4. People are complaining that the sharks didn't take Fiddler, but don't ask the question on why a lot of teams passed on Fiddler.
