Mitch Marner was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday. The 28-year-old forward, who could have become an unrestricted free agent, signed an eight-year, $96 million contract. It has an average annual value of $12 million. In return for Marner, the Maple Leafs received forward Nicolas Roy.

Leafs will crumble, Mathews and Tavares already had immense pressure to perform in playoffs before Marner left. I already know that Mathews tummy aches will return stronger than ever….

As a canes fan, leafs have no idea how good they had it . 16,34, and 88 should have retired together. With that being said, whoever the Toronto market runs out of town next of the other 2, we’ll gladly take in Raleigh
You know out of all the highlights there was like what 3 in the playoffs. While I enjoyed marners time in Toronto and wish him the best of luck in the west, where I am sure he will score 100 plus with Vegas. The fans want a cup.
