So a 5'11" Hobey Baker winner yet Tampa Bay wants a first round pick. At what point do the Oilers stop spending all their future 1st round picks? This is ridiculous, if he was already in the NHL & trending up yeah maybe but sooner or later the out of control overpaying has to stop. Think about this logically what did the Oilers get for their recent offer sheet rip offs? A freaking 2nd round pick for Broberg who himself was a 1st rnd pick at #8 & Holloway got a 3rd round pick but was drafted in the 1st round at #14. This is ridiculous and extremely poor asset management. 😢
