Been watching Doug work for many years, with highs and lows. I no longer try to predict what he’s going to do; I just try to do a little homework so I’m ready for what comes!
I’ll say this since I’m a Blues fan. If UTAH can do a trade as they did for almost a point per game player such as John-Jason Peterka, there is no reason why Army and Steener can do the same.
Kyrou for Byram feels like an overpayment from the Blues. Maybe Faulk and #19 tonight

Don't trade Kyrou. A year ago I would have said the opposite, but he's playing more responsible now. I'd offer Faulk & 1st rounder for Byram.

If kyrou is going in a byrum trade it better be #9 or a jiri kulich coming back with byrum

Does Faulk and leddy have no trade/no move? If so they aren’t getting traded to Buffalo. No one wants to go to Buffalo.
Faulk and 19 is still a little overpriced for byram but as a blues fan I’d be very happy with it. As much as I wanted to trade kyrou for Dobson I don’t want to give him up for Byram.

Kyrou AND a defenseman ? I wouldn't do that unless something more substantial comes back from Buffalo. 35 goals and 70+ points is not easy to replace.

If Kyrou is traded, it better be for a Dobson. We have plenty of D trash so we can move that plus picks for Byram. The package suggested feels a little steep. Yea he’s got lockdown D but no offense.
Bad deal for the Blues
Since the Sabres acquired 2 RHD (Kesselring & Timmons) I think Byram and a pick or a prospect like Rosen for Kyrou. Byram wants guaranteed PP time and with Dahlin and Power ahead of him in that regard he wants out.
I am very appreciative of StL content, it's usually challenging to find quality, objective analysis.

I'm feeling a two for two trade with each trading off/def swap. But don't do the trade unless it's high end Def and off Center coming back.
