  1. obviously interference, the NHL did the same thing that they did with the Rangers VS Flyers outdoor game. They tried to get more views and make it more interesting.

  2. You can clearly see Anderson's at the top of the crease almost out and Vanek barely touches him good goal

  3. man had his legs in between Andersen's pads kicking around and his stick on his body, dont understand how that isnt interference

  4. What an amazing game. Big Red Wings fan here but I'm not even mad that they lost. Thank you Toronto for a great game.

  5. Andersen's right arm and leg were free. He easily could have made the save, he just didn't. I'm not a Leafs or Wings fan but for some reason it's irritating me that everyone says it's interference. I don't get why Leafs fans are still bitching about it anyway, they won the damn game.

  6. As a referee for a couple years now i don't get the pleasure of instant replay to determine if its goaltending interference, i would've called it a good hockey goal as this ref did and now i will explain why, if you look at 35 seconds you can see Vanek outside the crease and the puck hits andersen and pops out to mantha and as the andersen quickly realizes he's in trouble he turns and his left pad kicks vanek who is turned to try and hit the puck and ends up falling into the crease. the goalie is entitled to his crease as a player is entitled to his and in no way did vanek interfere with the goalies positioning as he was outside the crease when andersen kicks his legs from behind and vanek is also pushed a little from behind but this is a good hockey goal. also if it was goalie interference andersen would've pointed or went crazy to point out he was interfered with which he doesn't so he knows its a good goal as well but it was a great game to watch and i wish more games had exciting endings like this.

  7. That was totally interference… Vanek tripped him up, he couldn't push off to get back to the center of the net. Glad Toronto won then.
