Vancouver Canucks director of scouting Todd Harvey met with the media at Rogers Arena to discuss the club’s selections at the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

  1. Glad they kept the picks, as Buhks said on the sportsnet feed, this kids going to be an important part of our rebuild in 4 or 5 years after the mess the old core left us

  2. Not too sure how long Harvey has been on the job but, for the last five Canuck draft classes (2020 -2024) a total of FIVE players have played a single NHL game. Amassing a total of 9 points. That's 9 points in five years. How any of them still have a job is absolutely astonishing. Just blindly following Craig Button's top 100 would give you better results than that.

  3. To be fair it's hard to improve the prospect pool if you draft 3rd round and after. 2020 and 2021 didn't have any NHLers. In hindsight they should have drafted Stankoven instead of Klimovich.
