Ehlers is like Necas in the playoffs but more injury prone
Wth would they get Ehlers? The Avs need D.
We can get Ehlers, trade Necas for a bottom six forward and a defenseman.
Are you guys assuming that we wouldn't get anything back for Necas? Weird… I mean yeah, if they trade Necas away for nothing then yeah, gross incompetence and a horrible trade

Letting lindgren go was big mistake
If Necas isn’t re-sign he’ll be gone if not before, early in the season
The whole “….there was a sense that Necas wasn’t happy with his Avalanche experience” line started with a writer backing the comment up with nothing; no facts whatsoever. I don’t believe for one second that the Marty party is going anywhere before the next trade deadline. The man is a zone entry machine and I think the Avs really need a player of his caliber if they are to compete with the wrecking crew offense that the Las Vegas Knights will be putting on the ice this coming season. The team needs a little more up front and definitely some D.
