  1. Yes, this one I wanted to hear y'all's opinions on. I like this deal. It could age in to a super sweet deal.

  2. I really dont know what to make of this. That whole team, especially their top forwards are below 6ft and they are not shying away from it even after losing in ECFs year after year.

  3. If Carolina doesn't make significant changes in their top 6 they're going to see more of the same results in the playoffs

  4. His points per 60 min was under 2 with Dallas and over 5 with Carolina, so hopefully those Carolina numbers are more indicative of how he'll be deployed and produce in Carolina.

  5. Great signing. I think his ceiling is ~80 points. Maybe an average season looking like 28 goals 40 assists. His AHL numbers were elite and had 5 goals in the post season. Is that more or less than 10m+ aav guys from toronto?

  6. Hate the canes are small is why the lose arguement . Because stankoven is the only reason we even won a game vs florida lol. Stankoven was great all post season

  7. problem is we need a center better than kk and to get bigger and theres no easy way to do both. all centers that could be available are smaller

  8. Anyone who watched his playoffs with the canes knows he could literally be a 50-60 point guy as soon as this coming year, he had multiple MASSIVE goals, multiple of them were complete snipes including the lone GWG in a shutout win vs florida. Sniping bobrovsky in a playoff game on the road isnt something to yawn at. I thought an 8 year deal would come in at 6.5-7 atleast he has brad marchand 2.0 written all over him. For perspective hes also at a similar development points wise to what necas was early in his career. Hes gonna have a breakout season in 2 or 3 years and everyone is going to be saying "he makes HOW much?"
