New: Flames Sign Dryden Hunt to a 2-Year Extension, Brett Sutter Named Wranglers Head Coach

Today the Flames announced that they signed forward Dryden Hunt to a 2-year, 2 way contract with an AAV of $825,000. Also this afternoon, Brett Sutter was named the Head Coach of the Wranglers following Trent Cull moving up to the Flames’ staff

Hunt is an extremely low risk source of veteran depth with several members of the 2024 draft class moving into the organization full time. I expect him to be with the Wranglers in the Fall unless the Flames are injury riddled or bad

Sutter is a perfect fit for Wranglers bench boss as the former Captain and an assistant last year

Go Flames!
