Bruins Make MULTIPLE Signings… MAJOR Bruins Turn | Boston Bruins News
The Boston Bruins have made multiple very interesting signings here today. And this is not at all what we expected. We’re going to be breaking down these signings as well as one that many people are not too fond of. And the Bruins seem to be going in a much different direction. We’re going to be breaking that down here in this video and going over why these players were specifically signed by the Boston Bruins. But ladies and gentlemen, before we do get into all of these signings here today, we have four in this video and another one coming later tonight, which is a much different case, but we know we have a lot to cover. But before we do get into this one, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. As I’ve been mentioning, we just hit 7K, on the road to 10K with the next up being eight. Your guys support has been absolutely incredible as of late. And I appreciate everybody watching these videos right now during this very busy Canada today. And once again, if you’re in Canada, happy Canada Day. I forgot to mention that in an earlier video, but let’s get straight into it because we have a lot to cover and we have literally no time to waste here. So, first of all, let’s pull up this one. Sean Cari is coming back to the Boston Bruins after a tenure already earlier on in his career in 2021. He’s a player that is certainly going to be a depth a depth addition to this team. And that’s something we’re going to mention here a lot in this video is depth. And it’s not something that many people really fond of. Not something that many Bruins fans really had the idea was going to be the move that we all thought was going to be made. You know, we expected some big signing coming. Not yet has that happened. But there are many moves that here are going to have a major impact on the outlook of this team heading into the next season. Now, Sean Carelli of course is not what he, you know, once was. Obviously, a fourth liner, 32 years old, 1.9 for by 2 years, which is a little bit of an expensive contract for a guy like Sean Crowley, who is a projected 13% more. Low on the offense, low on the defense, and really don’t bring much to his game. The thing though that we’ve been seeing, the thing that we’ve been mentioning and kind of getting the idea from Don Sweeney and Cam Neely is the depth additions to this team. It does seem and it does appear like they’re trying to go the Florida Panthers, the LA Kings route, you know, the Tampa Bay Lightning in their Stanley Cup runs of getting a very deep roster filled with players who are not necessarily fourth liners, but players that are able to jump up to the second if need be, but will always be down here in this, you know, lower bottom six on the team, which we’re getting a few players here from the Tampa Bay Lightning and that ideology, too. So, it is definitely something to keep in mind here because obviously Sean Cwley is not going to be anywhere uh you know near the top six. He’s going to be a guy I would say on the fourth line bouncing around here. But the former assistant captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets now back to Boston where although this year wasn’t great. You see they’re on top the war percentile rank it did drop a little bit. You know gun is going to show that last year if that if he went back to what his projections were last year would be in much better shape than now. So, I think this is a it’s a non-risisk contract even though 1.9 is a little bit expensive. Now, this is one that I’m very very excited about. Mikey Asim side two by 1.5 with Boston, a fourthline energy winger who for checks, finishes checks, and most importantly shoots the puck a ton. Once again, another thing that we’ve been seeing about this Boston Bruins team is they are looking to make shots get to the net. Mikey Asamont is there, Victor Arbertson is there. Those two guys, that is their game. and someone who has been on the Tampa Bay Lightning bottom six for a couple years. He is knows how to go and win. He knows how to fill that role of a bottom six player and Mike Asimmon absolutely above Sean Cari in the percentile. Now predictable still 3.5, but when you’re looking at his offense and defense, that’s what really matters here. You know, you’re looking at the goals, you’re looking at the finishing, that’s, you know, that is that’s whatever. That’s not a big thing. Not a power play guy. can play center, can play the wing, fourth liner, still 29 years old, but the game that he plays is so much more important than it does look like on this J Fresh chart. He’s a guy that will get the energy going for your entire lineup. He is the exact type of player you want to have in your bottom six, whether it is, of course, on uh, you know, fourth line, third line, can really play anywhere in this lineup. And this is one that I’m super excited to see because this is what the Bruins were really lacking here in the last few seasons. And it goes to show, you know, the way that we saw this Bruins team play and especially most recently this year, that regular season very similar to what many teams play like in the playoffs where they don’t have players to continue playing at that level. But these signings that we have here today from this Bruins team are players that will be a very important play uh play mindset for the playoffs. So Mikey Asiman, one there that is a much different one and a much better looking one than the rest of the signings that we have here today. But going on Ellie Freeman hearing Jordan Harris was not qualified the Columbus Blue Jackets is headed to Boston plays college at Nor Eastern. Now the former Montreal Canadian was a good player at a very young age and didn’t really get into the lineup. Didn’t crack the lineup too much for the Montreal Canadians which really didn’t let him get consistent get him in the NHL game. Ultimately ended up going to Columbus in the Patrick Line trade and is someone that didn’t really fit the scheme of Columbus. If we do see a Montreal play from Jordan Harris here in the Boston Bruins, this is going to be a very, very underrated signing when we get into it. And taking a look here at Jordan Harris, what he brings to the table. And kind of looking at the defense, he’s a guy that’s going to be filling the Parker Wtherspoon role of last season. And of course, Victor Sodrom is going to be here as well. You can probably assume they’re going to be the 78, but Jordan Harris is a very risk-free contract here on the fourth um, you know, the fourth defenseman on the left side. Of course, can change. Victor Sodor will probably be there on the right side as well, but Jordan Harris, I I think a lot of people are going to be a big fan of this one. It’s a very cheap option that is a very reliable one if needed on this regular uh defensive pairing. or whoever it may be, whether it’s Andrew Peak, Henry Okiaru, even Charlie Makavoy, he’s someone that can hold his own and something that really the Boston Bruins want to see is that another bottom seven defenseman or a seventh defenseman very similar to Parker Wtherspoon who is just a kind of a Swiss Army knife down in the bottom half of this defense. So, I’m also very excited about this one here in specific because when we do take a look at the defense, we got it locked up. We got it locked up good. We got the defenseman we wanted. very similar actually the exact same as last year uh on the six actual defenseman fraud. Now Jordan Harris I’m going to give him a little boost over Parker Wersman. He’s a great player. A lot of people like him and ultimately not clicking on uh Columbus was probably the best thing for the Boston Bruins here because they get a very good young defenseman who will surprise a lot of people when getting into this lineup. Now there’s been one more very sneaky signing here by this Boston Bruins team. And no, I’m not talking about Tanner Jano as you see there. That will be its own video here later today because we got to talk a lot about that. That’s a very interesting thing that’s going to be kind of be causing a lot of commotion around the Bruins land. But this is another signing by Hockey Robinson, Cam Robinson, Elite Prospects. Mate Blu Blumal, I believe that’s how it’s pronounced. It is Czech, so I’m not positive if that’s the correct pronunciation. I do apologize, but is to sign with the Boston Bruins. Now, moments before recording this video, it is done. An 850K contract, I believe, and it is a one-way deal. So, he will be in the NHL. Of course, could go through waiverss, could get claimed, but according to multiple reports coming from Dallas here, Steve Spot, the new assistant coach for the Boston Bruins, had a big say in this contract, a big say in getting uh him to this lineup. And one thing about him is that he is a very interesting forward because when we come into this and look at what he brought to the table last year for not just the not the Dallas Stars, but the Texas Stars, 67 points, 39 goals, 33 assists, 72 points with that team. team and going to the playoffs. 16 points in 14 games. Continued it there as well. Now, didn’t have that with the Dallas Stars this year. Didn’t get the opportunity really at seven games. We know how good that lineup is. Didn’t get the opportunity here, but having him jump with that Texas Stars near 40 goals, highest goal scorer in the AHL. I believe there was something gotten thrown out there in that in that realm on Twitter when talking about him. So, this is a very good signing. 6′ 205, big guy. You know, he’s not just a not a tall guy necessarily. 6 foot of course is definitely the height you want to be. But at 205 by no means is he going to get bullied around on the ice here. He’s a guy that brings a lot of talent and you even see this last year with the Texas Stars in 23 24 31 and 31 for 62. He’s a guy that the Bruins are really going to try and extract some talent from especially adding to this lineup. We really don’t know where people are going to be and you know we can kind of jump back as well here to the offseason uh you know kind of projections on the cap uh Bruins cap space. There’s not a lot of, you know, young talent on this lineup right now. Of course, they got a lot of bottom six players here today and kind of leaves a lot of questions for a guy like Marott who’s not Dinov who was signed, Lysel, who’s going to be in this lineup hopefully, Georgie Miraov extension yesterday, John Beecher, you know, these younger guys seemingly getting pushed out by John Crowley, Tanner Jano, and it does seem like the Bruins are trying to go for that deep playoff push with the roster they have built here. Now, is it enough? I don’t want to say just yet it is, but they’ve made some moves to try and make sure this team can, you know, handle themselves in the playoffs if they get there, of course. And it’s going to be interesting to see where they go from here because, you know, it’s not exactly the season that we all hope for, but this offseason so far, got to say from Don Sweeny’s standpoint has looked pretty good. Today wasn’t the greatest on the people that they went out and signed, but things could happen. There got to be something else in the works. I’m going to all break it down here on the channel as it happens. But remember, we have the Tanner Chanel video coming later. You will not want to miss that one because that’s something I think a lot of people are very very concerned about, especially looking at the way it all played out. But that’s all I got in this video. If you did enjoy, give it a like, hit the sub button. Remember, we got a lot of content coming. You won’t want to miss it and we’ll have it here as it happens. But that’s all I got. Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.

Veteran fourth liners replacing promising newcomers. Yeah, that will work.
Not gonna mince my words, absolutely hated the signings today. Absolutely all the good will built up is gone, next year is gonna suck unless there are some major shake ups in the summer
I seen nothing that excited me today. We have one good line and a bunch of 3rd and 4th liners. We did not address the need for goal scorers. I see us finishing last in the division……again.
Pathetic…..
Tanking for McKenna while leaving no spots for the youth. Sweens is brilliant.
Look we had a winning team just 3 years ago
Sweeney and Cam Neeley have gotten rid of all except for pasta
I don't understand this reasoning
As far as I'm concerned Sweeny and Neeley ruined the Bruins
According to them Cassidy wasn't good enough well he went to the nights and guess what they won the Cup
Marchand went to Florida and guess what they won the Cup
The problem with the Bruins is not the team it's the management
Mark my words the next to go will be pasta and I wouldn't blame him he's no spring chicken and in his place I don't think a rebuild is in his agenda.
Now don't get me wrong I've been a Bruins. Fan since 1967
I will still continue but I will not support them as long as Sweeny and Neeley are in control
I will be supporting Marchand and the Panthers from here on in.
Boston management doesn't respect their players they could have paid Marchand instead they let him go
Shame for what a few bucks.
My heart life's with Boston but my support now is worth Marchand and the Panthers even if they never win a cup again.
👎👎👎👎
Terrible free agency wtf is wrong with Sweeney had a good draft and just ruined everything he did
Those guys are not depth players they are thrash players they suck we need top 6 player not ahler and fourth liners
So we are signing a bunch of nobody's. Awesome.
Sweeney believes the road to the title is 4th liners.
Still no Russians!? All wining teams inNHL have at least two Russian players.
Well the Bruins have solidified being a bottom 6 team with these signings
Horrible signings today. Only thing Sweeney did today was spending money on nobody’s
Where's the scoring help for pasta nothing and i mean nothing …. Tanking think about fans paying hundreds of dollars for tickets should get a discount if your tanking don't make any sense….
blumel has upside and sounds like a good signing!
These signings are just garbage.
Neely and Sweeney were given the gift of James Hagens at #7 and have now done their best to crush the optimism.
Fourth line, energy players, blah, blah. Awful contracts.
Unless we start letting them know we’re not happy with what they’re doing this will never change. Cancel NESN. Don’t go to the games. It’s the only thing they listen to.

Not much to be excited about honestly, Sweeney is still searching for a couple local undrafted FA to fill out the squad
So Bruins. Nothing will change until people stop going to the games.
So you’re telling me that with all that cap space money ……we got f$&k all. We are not going to be good at all next season
Sweeney really opened up the checkbook, eh.
Biggest bag of garbage FA signings ever but hey they spent their money. Dude you need to stop hyping up garbage
If it doesn't work out trade the players for more draft picks.
Smart move by Sweeney.
Garbage signings. Paid 3.4 million a year for 5 years to a guy who scored 7 goals last year and is definitely a bottom 6 forward. Could have kept Lauko for a lot less and gotten the same numbers and still have money to try and sign another goal scorer. A pretty good draft followed up with poor signings. Sweeney and Neely might be legends on the ice for the B's but they suck at the picking free agents
I feel this was a good day
Too many average players signed and no top 6 guys. Hopefully one of the AHL guys they signed can step up.
Crushing saw boston was in for brock boesner and then Vancouver resigns him ugh
All these signings are trash!!!! Why don't u have a second team of 4th liners. Fire Sweeney now! Bum.
Another crap season in the making Sweeney sucks
