Arvidsson will be a suitcase on the league for the rest of his career. He may supply some depth scoring for Boston, but I’m not optimistic
First Canucks and now Bruins
Everyone helping Oilers create cap space smh 😢
Aging bruins roster? Their one of the youngest teams in the league now
TRADE HENRIQUE…..Hes too slow to kill penalties, and cant win important draws!
Even IF Mcdavid took a two or a four year deal for the same salary he's making right now, that would only enable the FO to go out and get maybe one or two complimentary bottom 6 players. No proven winger for Leon AND no goaltender.
How does anyone look at the Bouchard and Frederic deals and not come to the realization that Mcdavid must be disgusted??
Now you watch Arvidsson thrive with Boston. He is a much better player than he showed in Edmonton . The Oilers are too focused on Connor and Leon , making it impossible for players like Victor to strive offensively. If we’ve learned anything from the Florida Panthers is at all three lines need support both offensively and defensively each line needs a “quarterback “ capable of distribute in the park all lines need a a steady scorer and more importantly, all three lines need chemistry to work.
Sadly this doesn’t mean they necessarily bring in an upgrade player. Now that they’ve just gambled on Bouchard with the big payday and potentially McDavid on the way oilers can keep dumping players and still have a hard time making the changes they need and be under the cap. Almost better off to not have McDavid sign now
Perry signed with the kings.
Im not sure the leafs are a playoff team in the Atlantic. Ottawa and Montreal are not basement teams anymore.
The possession game the oilers play didn't fit arviddsons style. Hes smaller than marchand and doesnt possess the attributes necessary to succeed in a grinding/possession system. He looked much better in LA playing on a faster 'shoot the puck" type of system
I think Jesse is correct, the goal for the bruins should be to keep Arvidsson healthy, get him a decent amount of points, and then flip him at the trade deadline for a higher pick
VA is a floater
Who on the Bruins is "aging"? Aren't they like… almost all under 30 now? It's one of the youngest teams in the NHL my guy. Chara, Marchand, bergeron, and Krejci are all gone. Time to update your Bruins takes
Connor Brown is gone now, Perry signed with LA.
Boston Bruins are one of the youngest team’s. lol
