Rest assure, Kings will not roll 9 forwards and 4D-men.. They won’t go into a defensive shell when leading by a goal or 2 in the 3rd period..I hope
Kings lacked maturity and more physical play from their young players in the playoffs… added bottom six mature physical players that can play gritty playoff hockey its not great add, but its good enough… Same for bottom six defense… so Ken Holland added bullets for the next great trade that comes along….getting short terms for those players is better that shelling out 7-8 years max money and get stuck with the players beyond their 35s with max terms. Still have their top 9 intact that were the leagues best scoring team in last 20 games of the season…
Would not surprise me if the Kings trade Moore to either clear up space to sign a UFA (Ehlers?) or as one piece of a deal for a bigger named forward (Robertson?, LA kid). Kings will have $10M if they trade Moore to sign Laferriere and an UFA.

Kings fan here. Not one of these trades excites us one bit. This is an extreamly dissapointing day. Our team has downgraded and overpaid for average players.

Ceci was never talked about when he played for Edmonton. That's the best defenseman. They just do their job. And he was a great popular player in the room.
Tbf, Perry was one of the only oilers to produce against the cats, so, he could do worse.
