  1. lol old ruggish Riemsdyk and two ahler D men, sorry this is bad bad signing. If I was Yzerman i would offer McDavid a 5 year deal as Oilers are having issues with cap space. The fans are already mad about not trading the 13th pick.

  2. Very low cost low risk moves. This isnt gonna move the needle for anyone but as a Wings fan these are solid bottom end moves.

  3. I like the JBD signing. I think, given the opportunity, he can turn into something for cheap. This is about what I expected though. Was really hoping to land miller in a trade, but didn’t expect we’d land gavrikov. Not really a lot of players I was hoping for in free agency though

  4. Well so he signed should of beens and has beens this offseason this is not going to do nothing but make the fan base want to revolt this season

  5. 1-year deals. Yzerman is setting Detroit up with a plethora of picks and cap space next offseason. Whether he’s the GM or not. Commendable moves!

  6. These aren't GREAT signings. JVR is a good signing. The 2 depth defenseman will be scratches more often than not.

  7. 36 year old van riemsdyk and some bum that is so bad ottawa didn't even give him a qualifying offer lol

  8. These are some great signings for the Griffins. Heck of a job by Yzerman building up the AHL team. Now, where are the NHL players?

This is the most disappointing offseason in recent memory, given the hype leading up to it. Which is saying a lot since I was livid we let Ghost go.

Terrible moves by Yzerman, I guess if you can’t get anyone go get some cheap shitty players well beyond their prime, but this team is more likely, at this stage, to be competing for the #1 overall pick in the draft lottery than a wild card playoff spot this next year.

It might be time to start looking at moving on from Dylan Larkin or Lucas Raymond and starting the rebuild over, since we cannot convince anyone to come to Detroit we have to do it internally, and our prospect pool is not good enough to do it.

  9. Stevie probably wants to give Todd a full season to see how he (better) handles current assets before shaking things up too much. I'm not mad about the low-risk activities, but we fans are getting impatient, and some are losing faith in the Yzerplan.
