Why Aleksander Barkov is the BEST Centre in the NHL (And It’s Not Even Close)
#aleksanderbarkov #barkov #floridapanthers
I created this video to show that Aleksander Barkov just led the Florida Panthers to back-to-back Stanley Cups, won his third Selke Trophy, and completely shut down the best players in the world — all while staying humble and dominating every inch of the ice. Is he the most underrated superstar in the NHL? Or is he simply the best centre on the planet right now?
In this video, Ibreak down Barkov’s insane two-way game, his leadership, his playoff dominance, and his path to becoming an all-time great.

I will put it this way: The most complete player we have ever seen. He does it all.
If there was 5 barkovs vs 5 McDs, which team would win?
Considering the entire team play, it's better to have the best defensive forward at 0+0 and +10, than the best offensive forward at 5+5 and -10. The legacy media concentrates too much on the points while completely forgetting how much "silent points" Barkov generates for his team mates.
Finally someone respect Barkov! Its insane to me that everyone is complaining how MCdavid doesent produce on most important games, they dont understand how big Barkovs part of that it is❤ i really believe that he is going to get more rings soon
Kucherov, Matthews, Marner and McDavid COMBINED for 3 goals against Barkov in the playoffs this year. Let that sink in.
He's only getting better, like he has done each year.
Barkov for president, too bad he wasn't born here
Two years in a row, he has shut down the best offensive player of this generation in the finals.
täälä ei sikailla! 😀
Tell me one better comblete Icehockey player then BARKOV? Hi from FINLAND 🇫🇮
What an great video! Thank you! Im your new subscriber 🙂
I take a moment here to poure my thoughts:
I remember a comment that was referring to some interview to, why Barkov didnt go to Russian hockey leagues, national team etc, while he was playing in "miniature" country next door (Finland). He had at least that time double citizensship both Rus and Fin. He said in that interview that nobody was not showing any interest towards him, from Russia. I think that was pretty much all that he said. He is born in Finland to Russian parents, while his father was in the middle of his long hockey career in Finland.
Interesting aspect about him, coincidence or not, is that many of his personal traits are very well known Finnish stereotyped characters: not so interested about interview or media stuff, lead with example (Im officer of reserve of Finnish defense forces, and we were allways told by higher ranked officers and teachers, that "Finns have to be lead from front"=by example), humble and hard working etc etc. Like said in this video. Im just curious that does he get those personal traits from outside, as he lived and grow in Finland for all his years before NHL, ot is he simply just Russian guy, who would had that persona, no matter where he grows? Maybe both.
And those "characteristics typical to Finnish" are something that can be find quite widely all across nordics. I personally dont believe those to be so much in DNA. Maybe some parts of those..but IMO it is mostly because culture and Lutheranian-protestant values, that has been allways deemed very high in Finland and all nordic countries. Honesty and modesty are in the center of it. About honesty aspects, there are numerous international study etc that confirm this. For starters that "lost wallet" test that they did in many cities around the globe. Also, I would never be so irrational that I'd think that all those mentioned personal traits appear only this region, or we have only those, or foremost those, before any negative ones..No.
Every culture and nation has its positive and negative distinctive aspects. So no need to tell me that. I love my country and culture, I would defend its freedom and independence with gun, but I had never think that we are better than others etc…just must clarify this to the end of this rant 🙂
