I’m okay with Tarasenko here for a year. If it means we can have different/better players to pursue in the near future. Billy not wanting to spend his money and lock up 1 of 3 options this offseason makes sense

Tarasenko could be a great addition to the 4th line with MoJo! Now we just need to figure out who is going to center the 4th line. Ohgren needs to figure out how to get 2nd line time. Given that the Wild are not looking like a cup contender on paper, why not really mix things up and have Rossi center the top line. Of course you have to sign Rossi to make that happen.
I'm fine with it……The Wild aren't a Cup contender and weren't going to make a splash tomorrow anyway….Who knows, maybe he'll click with Kirill (and Yurov 😃)
In regards to Rossi, I'm still confused as to way so many Wild fans think offer-sheeting players is commonplace, because it isn't. I wouldnt be shocked if there are 0 offer-sheets for Rossi because the market already determined he isn't a $7M player and teams already declined Billy's ask of a first and a player…… Who knows, maybe I am wrong and Billy will need to sift through 5 OS tomorrow……. Re-sign Rossi, trade Rossi, let him walk to Tier-3 Euro-hockey. At this point, i really dont care. I'm kind of sick of all the Rossi chatter. Lets get it done, whatever "it" is, and move on……….

I wish him the best in Minnesota. I really wanted him to work-out in Detroit. Watching him was sometimes painful, he would literally just give up on plays and it was frustrating. Maybe he was just unhappy in Detroit?
You said you would cover the wild draft. What happened?
This is a pretty low risk move, one year, maybe he finds the fountain of youth and has chemistry with Yurov, 97 etc. If it doesn’t work, the contract expires the end of the season. Of course he’s lost a step but his hands are still there and is only 33 so sometimes a change of scenery works miracles. I like this move, now let’s see what tomorrow offers, thinking somethings still brewing. The Wild did give Rossi and Milne offers today, hoping Rossi makes his decision sooner than later if the offer from the Wild is fair. We’ll know if it’s the Wild or Rossi soon enough, hoping he stays…
Well, for 2 last seasons he was a bottom 6 guy most of the time which is not great for such player. If he'll be a 2nd line guy – it is an obvious upgrade from JoJo. And we got him almost for Free and just for 1 year.
