Jonnu never got full snaps last year with the Dolphins and still put up 884 receiving yards. I don’t get the issue. He can play 2/3s of the snaps and still be very effective. Arthur Smith is ready to pepper this guy with targets, when he is on the field.
Achane of course. This probley helps Waddle to. But Hill still cost to much for me.

There’s no way the Steelers are planning to run their entire offense through rookie Caleb Johnson and DK Metcalf, who will see plenty of double coverage. That would be laughable. Jonnu is now the WR2 and will eat in this offense.

I got this news just before my 18th rounder in a slow draft. Was all set to draft Calvin Austin, but I think the upside may have disappeared with the addition of a 2nd pass catching TE. Kinda bummed as I had been drafting a lot of Friermuth, who I think may get hurt with Smith added.

Other than Achane I think every Dolphin you might draft has a pretty bad worst case scenario. I might tread with a little more caution than this, personally.
I could see the dolphins run 4-5 receiver sets and using the TE as a blocker to help tua and the O line more than a pass catcher. They have the talent to do so. I can see them trying to spread the ball around more than just focusing on Reek, Waddle, and Achane.
Dolphins are going to push the ball down the field again.
I don’t understand where Josh thinks Aaron’s going to throw the ball other than to DK. Has to be someone and Jonnu could easily put up 700-800 yards and 5-8 TDs

If you want to make sense of this, all you need to know is Rodgers works out with Jalen Ramsey. GM Rodgers buddy system is alive and well.
I think you fellas are forgetting the legendary Jarthuring of 2023. Who could forget the ol reliable Jonnu jet sweep in short yardage situations? Or the brilliant Jonnu touchdown pass attempt? Not to mention no CPat to rely on in Arthur panic moments. The brilliant mega mind of Jarthur Smith is going to make Jonnu go crazy this year boyz
It's not an "all in" move. They have 12 draft picks next year and will likely be going into the 26 season on 2 rookie qb contracts. This gives them the luxury of filling the cap space with short term veterans. Knowing they'll have a few years with a lot of rookie contracts.
And Minkah was moved because if you're paying TJ, you're gonna have to move on from Minkah at the end of the season anyway. So it's smart to get something for him now.
These moves may not be sexy, but given what's out there, this is actually a gm master class going on.
