8.5 Million for a 30 to 41 points D-man, crazy. I guess 8.5 is more like 6.5 now lol.
So only reason I can see why this was paid. Cap adjusted inflation he’s making the same as he was before 6.5 million. However I believe Philly retained on the deal

As a CBJ fan, I get it the overpay comments. It is, but what were they supposed to do? He’s a top 3/4 defenseman. They had a galore of cap space and money. The cap is going up. It is what it is. I can live with it.
