The National Hockey League Calgary Flames made draft history yesterday when they became the first franchise to select a prospect in the first round from Arizona State University. Previously Seattle Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord was drafted by the Kraken while Josh Dunne, the son of NHL Hall of Famer Shane Don was selected 37th overall in the second round of the 2023 NHL entry draft.
