  1. Anyone saying Toews will step in and be our new 2C in Winnipeg is taking crazy pills. If he signs here, I see him slotting in at 3C while Lowry is out, and then see how that goes. Thereโ€™s no way he instantly joins the top 6 on any serious team.

  2. We've entered that time of the year where Leafs start throwing out the desperate, video game-level deals they think they're going to get to have all these players. It's hilarious how delusional they get thinking anyone worth their weight in talent wants to play for that clown show of a franchise

  3. They are trying to continue the Leaf tradition of acquiring expired or about to be expired talent while other teams focus on the future. Honestly, as a Leaf hater I'm almost sorry for this sad sack organization.

  4. Best time of the off season where every single player available is signing in Toronto!!! This is why all other fan bases don't take you seriously

  5. The biggest mistake Leafs management made was not signing Corey Perry. He is a playoff beast.

  6. no one. I mean no one. Wants to sign in Toronto. Long time tires are running for the exits.

The dark decade for the leafs is about to begin.

  7. Wishful thinking? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. It worked out for Pacioretty. Whats the risk on a 800k two way deal really? No downside, pure upside

  9. I hope the Leafs sign Toews and let Tavares leave thinking that will be an improvementโ€ฆ

  10. Yeah not one of Adamโ€™s better takes. Well past their prime, no proof Toews can even play still and I donโ€™t see how these two players get you over the hump past Florida.

Also the โ€œstep-backโ€ donโ€™t go for it take while Matthews is under contract is a bad. You donโ€™t intentionally try NOT to win this roster thatโ€™s just bad.

  11. Landeskog Played two games in the AHL after missing 3 years. And he had two major injuries. Something Toews didnโ€™t face

  12. Can you smell what the Dangle is smoking ? You gotta be high thinking this is gonna happen.

  13. Why are they even considering signing Toews & Kane? Toronto is enough of a circus without that crap happening. Let them go and retire somewhere else. The only focus should be the Cup.

  14. Sorry Steve, you mentioned Nashville's AHL affiliate, but I didn't hear you say their name….is is possible that you don't know who the Milwaukee Admirals are?

  15. Patrick Kane has no interest in ever playing for Derek Lalonde again and Lalonde after what he just went thru w Kane (who intentionally tanked this year to get him fired then exploded in production the rest of the year once Lalonde was gone) is no doubt telling Toronto management to not touch him.

  16. Why is totonti going after old hockey players thar should just retire. If they insust league minimum

  17. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ Thatโ€™s a good one, and can they bring their walkers with them?

  18. Kane intentionally tanked the first 30ish games this season bc he was trying to get the coach fired/get new linemates.

He succeeded. Under the new coach, he had 16/29/45 in his last 42 games. The season before that, after 6 games after surgery working off the rust, he had 19/26/45 in his last 43 games. He is still very much Patrick Kane. It's odd to see them talking about him like he's washed up. No, he was one of Detroit's best players each of the last 2 years. And this past year he gave them the highest scoring power play in the NHL. It ran pretty much entirely thru him when it ran hot. They were awful at 5v5 as a team but he still led them in 5v5 points per game from Dec 14 on. And in all situations points per 60 from Dec 29 on. In 23-24, he led them all situations points per 60 and in 5v5 goals per 60. He's led them GWG both years; he has 13 GWG in 122 games, next best is Lucas Raymond with 9 GWG in 164 games. He's still him.

  19. These guys are a perfect example of whatโ€™s so stupid about the media Kane-59pts, โ€œ4 million might be generousโ€ Ehlers-63points โ€œ9millionโ€
