Frondell is a great pick. Heâs the goal scorer that we need. Also add 2 more 1st round picks is a good draft for Davidson, especially getting players with size. As far as production value on ESPN they should be embarrassed. The draft began at 6:00PM. We ended at 10:30PM. How the hell do they expect to have this next season or tomorrow. Last season was very quick and simple and tonight we had Mcqeens journey to Disneyland, we had poor audio from ESPN. Also bringing up people who had no part of hockey to call out the draft picks. I honestly donât know how we can get through day 2. We should start with day 2 at midnight.

Comparison to Pettersson:
Pettersson's 0.95 point-per-game in his draft year is the only mark higher than Frondell's in Allsvenskan.
Other notable players:
Nylander (0.77), Pastrnak (0.67) had lower point-per-game rates in their draft seasons.
This is a good pick. Our fanbase is trash. We could have got one of the top two picks and Hawks fans would still complain. Conner is a damn good player but not at center. He is too undersized. My question is why are people shocked? It's been well known the Hawks liked him. The kid has been playing Hockey with grown men. Damn our fanbase is ass.
Frondell is a good complementary piece but probably won't become a 1C, the two late picks are questionable seems to not be great value.
I like the Frondell pick. I wanted Hagens, but Frondell was my #2 choice. I think that he might end up being the best player from this draft looking back years from now.
"the defensive deficiencies Bedard might have". That would require him to actually play some form of defense. Bedard needs to move to the wing where the lack of defense and ability to win faceoffs is minimized.

Absolutely the worst league as far as player movement and trades. You better draft well because you're not going to get any player via trade unless they are RFA looking for a payday or UFA that are big money and looking for term.

everyone who says "he would've been there at…" for first round picks just does not know puck. teams know if they can get a guy in the 2nd round. they know nestrasil and west will be gone at 34.
