  1. Hey Brodie,
Thanks for this talk with Mike G. I was happy when Mike joined the Sharks as a player and I was happy when he was named GM and all he has done as GM is make me trust his judgement. Certainly Mike is human like the rest of us but, he just seems to have done such a clear eyed assessment of the Sharks, where we need to go and how we get there from the first week on the job.

I think he has done a stellar job so far and wish him and his team all the best tomorrow and the rest of the off season in this trying time where there just aren't a ton of free agents and very few teams who are tearing down their teams. Everyone mostly seems to want to add quality players like we do which makes every GM's job tougher including our own.

  2. "This team is so annoying. We have too much top end skill" — said no GM ever

MISA PLEASE!!!! We can find the grit / heavy players later!

  3. Glad Mike could take time out of his schedule for this interview. With over $40 million in cap space, I would expect the sharks to be busy making moves this offseason. But nope. Interviews come first.

  4. Brodie! You should interview the Dudes on Hockey. They might be the longest running Sharks podcast. Hell, I even have a Dudes on Hockey t-shirt from 4 years ago.
