If Ottawa does anything in the playoffs next year, it won't be because of Giroux. It will be in spite of Giroux. He hasn't had a good playoff performance in a LOOOONNGG time. In the last 12 years he has either performed poorly or missed the playoffs altogether. The Sens would be better off without Giroux slowing them down.
