We Flew to Seattle to go to a Kraken Game | 4 in 4 Episode 3

The third stop on our 4 NHL arenas in 4 nights series found us in Seattle, Washington to watch the Seattle Kraken take on the Edmonton Oilers! We wanted to see the beautiful city of Seattle and take in what the atmosphere was like at Climate Pledge Arena.

  1. You maybe didn’t notice the window from your seats, but they typically close the curtain during pregame, but it’s open during the game, except day games.

  2. That was awesome, great video! There are some interesting seating arrangements in that arena, I would be so distracted on the top row staring at the media hallway!! Also, I love their intro. I've been so disappointed in Nashville's intros the past few years. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to the last video in the series!

  3. Great video as always Ben. I haven’t been to a game at MSG in NY, but I’ve seen videos and the last few rows are just like the last row in Seattle. They call it the bridge at MSG I believe.

  4. This looks like a great experience. The arena looks great, the food offerings look so good, and the intro was amazing. Nashville needs to up their game considerably if this is what the competition is doing.

  5. Glad you enjoyed our arena! Sorry your seats were under the overhang, only a few rows like that in lower bowl. Also, the press bridge was added that way during construction due to the existing roof, so 211-217 of upper bowl isn’t ideal from row E up if you want to still see the twins. Great view of the ice still though.

  6. It's been great following along! Side note your music choices are amazing! Hope i can visit this cool arena one day!

  7. Another great vid Ben! You should come back to STL again. They re did a lot of stuff in the concourse and it looks SO MUCH nicer and way different since your last visit. I think we some of the fans will be a little nicer with how both of our seasons are going too lol.

  8. Fun fact: The original Starbucks isn't the original starbucks (information courtesy of John from "Tasty Tours Guide"). The original location was further down the street, I believe.

  9. Those seats "up there" are very cramped and less leg room. The arena was limited in capacity due to keeping the roof untouched as it was deemed a certified landmark. That is why they had to dig deeper for the renovations. We caught a Pens game and sat up in the nosebleeds and it was okay. And we had the chance to check out the Canucks in the American Express Hall lounge and that was better. Still less leg room but again that's due to haveing some restraints with the renovations.

  10. Sportiqe Clothing (the pocket long sleeve) is in fact a brand most teams stock in their team store.

  11. Really hoping the team will adop the Space Needle as their main crest on a future third or alternate jersey. I'd but it in the Made in Canada trim.

  12. not ure if you knew… the ice is made with recycled rain water (as part of the climate pledge).

  13. I think they have those 2 triangle scoreboards, because the way the roof was designed, it wouldn’t be able to hold up with a gigantic center hanging scoreboard like you see in every other arena. Just an interesting fact since you were interested about it, and LETS GO PREDS!
