  1. It makes good sense to draft a goalie every year. You have guys develop in your system. If they work out you have assets, if not you keep bringing gus to stock your shelves. Same for D, wingers and Centres. Maybe that's foreign to Canuck fans because it's never happened properly in the Canucks system before?

  2. ???? im so confused to why this is the reason why people think silovs is going to be moved. As many have already stated a goalie takes like 5-6 years to develop into nhl level and some take even longer. The real threat to silovs in terms of his position in the canucks organization is the lankinen contract and rumored demko extension combined with the fact that silovs is waivers eligible.

  3. I think they keep lankinan ,demko and silovs as the two are older 30 or near thirty and they can,t trust demko,s health or lankinans consitancy they can just keep silovs as kind of the guy to fall back on used all three goaldies last year

  4. This Russian should fit well with the Canucks. Just look how well Zadorov, Mikheyev, Podkolzin, Zadorov, and Bure fit.

  5. Goalies develop over a longer period of time because they usually don’t hit their prime till they are in their late 20s

  6. Trade Demko!!!!!!
Ouch bring back bad memories seeing that scroll. Canucks would need a 2nd line center if they didn't give away Jared Mc Cann
