  1. I had to sleep on it lol however after thinking about what some of our scouts mentioned Nesbitt has something specific they were looking for.. I believe that’s heart and balls. Two things sorely lacking with the Frost and the Farabees of this world.

    Take note York..

  2. Solid B/B- from me. Go crush round 2! I hope Nesbitt develops because Kris Letang had to stand there and let the Flyers trade with the Pens.

  3. Why are people acting like trading #31 away was a huge deal? This is what we wanted. They wanted Nesbitt. Why do fans act like we watched more tape than the scouting department 🀣

  4. I think the picks were good and the trade up Nesbitt was a good choice as the Blue Jacket were going to pick Nesbitt. Also, Martone is damn near NHL ready and there are maybe three other players in this draft that are in the same position.

  5. This reminds me similar of the 03 draft with Carter and Richards. They nailed the draft. If Martone turns out to be as good as Perry or Tkachuk, it’s an absolute steal at six. There weren’t many quality centers left in the first which is why they had to move up in order to pick Nesbitt. And while I really like Hagens, the Flyers really needed to bulk up on size. They will also have a lot of money to spend next season with almost 30-35 million in cap space (a lot of bad contracts are coming off) and can add a playmaking center too if needed. But the Flyers now have three young centers in Zegras, Luchanko, and Nesbitt and have started to restock the pipeline. Their main need will be to find a veteran goaltender who they can pair with either Ersson, Bjarnason, or Zavragin.
