I think the Jackets should have taken the safe sensible pick Connor Zary. At 21. And used their 3rd round pick they got in the Domi trade to take the other guy. Chances are he would have still been there. It was that much of a reach.
Sad to see we wasted a first rounder. We traded the pick conditionally in 2019 so it’s almost like it doesn’t really count! (Sigh)
