The Orioles now have a catcher who can't hit and a DH who can't catch in their lineup, while far superior options like Laureano and Urias are on the bench. Taking 2 lineup slots to create one "complete" catcher is a failure of Orioles Management, especially when they refuse to call up Sam Basallo while Adley is on the IL.
Sugano has pitched 4 different times already this season on "only" 5 days rest, and 2 of those starts were his best of the season. It is not acceptable to "punt" at starting pitcher tonight when you are facing Jacob DeGrom and are in desperate needs of wins.
