Honestly, I think the NHL will still have problems, even though they won't fix the CBA until they have no choice. How long can tickets keep going up in price before nobody can afford it? We already have nearly empty arenas basically daily despite claims of sellouts. That's a serious problem and will only grow unless they actually care about the fans.
Do you blame the draft class depth for all these potential first round pick trades?
Im actually bummed about the emergency goaltender thing. Hockey is crazy which is part of it's charm, and now stories like David Ayers will never happen again (and he isn't the only story like that in the NHL). It's a shame, not a releif.
Bobrovsky: CBJ —> FLA , Tarasov: CBJ —> FLA. We all know what happened the last time the cats got a former jacket right guys??
Demko needs to be paid less, because he can't be relied on to be a clear number one due to injuries.
i REALLY hope the canucks hold onto their pick and McQueen falls to them. God id love to see him in Vancouver, i have a feeling hes gonna be a stud
I enjoyed the Craig Anderson / Craig Conroy slip there 😆
THG: Anytime the words celebration and Canucks are together… (screen goes dark)

I can’t believe people are happy about a salary cap in the playoffs. I think that’s going to cause more problems than it solves.
I really hope Kyle Davidson can bring Ehlers to the Hawks.
Maybe Habs trade 16th, 17th pick for Boston's #7? Then they draft Desnoyers for eventual 2C if Hage doesn't work out, clearly Dach hasn't been and Newhook is a winger to be honest
If Sweeney trades the #7 pick it will probably be for 3 retired people and a traffic cone. Or he will draft someone that was forecasted to go #134. Bruins fan lose either way.
Nurse should say hey guys I wanna go to another team lol 😆
Vegas Golden Knights in shambles
Boston may be thinking they can move 7 for a couple first round picks – for example Montreal's 16 and 17.
I hope you post some photos of the celebration.
The LTIR situation never bothered me as it is hard to pull off. It is a rare player who is earning a large salary willing to take a year off to help the team. Players earn their money on their stats and a hole in their record is hurt by not playing for a year. From the team's point of view, they have to be confident they can make the playoffs without the player in the lineup. If a team can convince a player to go on LTIR let them do it.
I love how teams are tampering I think they should keep it going cuz if you think about it we all know where everybody's going to be going
Kane also legitimately broke his collarbone. Not like Tampa and Vegas making up bullshit
I would trade my pick this year to a team i think would be in the draft lottery next year.
Exciting times as a Flyers fan!
Nashville is aging out. I can see Ottawa making a play for Stamkos or Forsberg. I would prefer the latter.
A NMC for a bottom six guy is stupid. Teams should be limited to how many they can have under contract. This is another aspect of the game that is getting out of hand. Just like signing a 37 year old to an eight year deal, knowing they'll buy out the last half.
You think MTL would be willing to trade those picks for defensive help?
