Rachel, you are correct in saying that time will tell if Nesbitt works out. But the look on your face cannot hide the disappointment that the whole fan base is feeling right now. Love the Martone pick though

Nesbitt would have been available at 22. This is a repeat of last year when they picked Luchanko early. We need centers but we’ll skip Hagens. Then we’ll trade 2 first rounders so we can get a center that’s ranked late in the first or early in the second round.
2 firsts for someone that didn’t even make the first round on some mocks I’ve seen.

Cry, bitch, cry. Philly fans always bitching. Howie drafts guys the fans bitch about, then they turn around and are solid. If he is a good 1st round pick or turns out to be a stud it really doesnt matter when you tske him. If he busts then it doesnt matter if you take him at 12 or 22. I get it, you lose an extra pick. But if your scouts tell you this guy is a stud, go get your guy and let the fans cry about it.
It was reported that Nesbitt was going 13 to Detroit
If I’m hearing you right the Flyers traded 2 1st round picks to pick an off board project prospect that has issues skating!
This is the problem when teams lock into 1 guy they love vs picking players in tiers.
It seems like the Flyers were careless with their draft picks since they had so many of them.
I hope I’m wrong and they have it right!!
