He had a bad round against far and away the best team in the NHL 3 years running (they would of smoked Vegas if Bob showed up), up to that point he was absolutely lights out. Same goes for last year, except he was still solid in the finals. 10 mil is high, but Bouchard is an 8-8.5 mil defenseman in this NHL. He leaves a bit to be desired in the defensive zone sometimes with his sometimes lackadaisical approach, but he wasn't drafted and isn't going to get paid to be a defensive stalwart. He was drafted and is going to get paid to put up top5 offense from the blue line, while being a passable defender 80-90% of the time, which is what he has done the last 3 years.
Nurse at 9.5 is far more outrageous then Bouchard at 10
