First period was horrendous. Outshot by a 3:1 margin and down 2 goals.
They found their mojo in the second.
Frank is a statue on the PP. Everyone knows what's coming when he's on the ice. Telegraphed each time and defended well by Bridgeport.
Prior to that 3rd goal, Sgarbossa stops skating as if he's a magnet trying to attract the puck to him.
All in all, Bridgeport kept us to the perimeter. Our boys once again couldn't simply shoot the puck. Missed opportunities on the PP and a few odd man rushes.
I guess playing a lot of hockey over 2 plus years will begin to set in some time.
Yes, different players and a change of leadership (I've been hearing the absence of Mac is part of the problem).
I won't jump straight to the goalie performance. The guys in front have been lackadaisical from the neutral zone in. Winning board battles seems to be lost on the Bears at times. Missed assignments in the d-zone.
Shep and Mud have been marginal thus far. Leaky goals and saves that routinely make are not being done some games.
Nelson will push buttons to right the ship. This team needs a new identity. Some good pieces are in place. Just need to work out the kinks and growing pains.

Wow. If you're going to have a game like that, I guess it's best to get it out of the way long before the playoffs.
No Cup or Drink this Yearπππππ
This was so awesome to see! The Bears and their fans finally get snapped back to reality and pulled off their high horse for once
