Bruins unveil new logo, front office gets set for NHL Draft on Friday
well the Bruins released their new look logo today nothing too different combining the old school look but keeping the spoke be as a centerpiece of it as they turn the page they’ll also look to get back to winning today general manager Don Sweeney addressed the media ahead of the draft this Friday 12 Sports reporter Mike Yua has more the NHL draft kicks off on Friday night and for the Boston Bruins bearing a trade it’ll be a game of wait and see as the Bees own the seventh overall pick as they look to not only bounce back after missing the playoffs for the first time in nine years but they’re also looking to rebuild for the future
we’re looking for the most impactful players now impact can come in competitiveness and come in hockey sense it can come in skill it can come in scoring when you can combine them all obviously you get the perfect storm um it’s not a positional uh decision for us uh you know do we have areas that we would like to fortify uh if we have the opportunity depending on where the draft is deepest um and you can choose from players that might be similarly positioned um but ultimately we have to find the most you know competitive and skilled players that we possibly can
and as you may have noticed over Don Sweeny’s shoulders the Boston Bruins have introduced a new logo instead of having that BB black it is going to be gold a symbol of not only what we saw from two years ago during the centennial season but also recognizing the past history of the black and gold reporting from Warrior Arena in Boston Mike Huba 12 Sports
