I really had hoped Tarasov would work out. Maybe Florida can bring out the best in him. Makes sense with Jet on a one-way contract now.
Historically, blue jackets goalies make good Panthers. I'm honestly slightly scared. Who knows what hell we unleashed.
As a Floridian, I am happy about this trade. Watching the kid play is like watching a more unrefined version of Bobby. He does need to improve. But I think the raw skills are in there. The styles look very similar. Zito is wisely trying to find a Bobby 2.0. Also, the goalie market these days is kind of not good. So this move by Zito I think was genius.
Looking forward to what he can do behind 🧱 Bob 🧱
Hopefully we can work something out and get Gibson from Anaheim. We all love Elvis but it's time to move on.
A tandem of Gibson and Greaves might be awesome.
