We passed on Caufiled and Boldy. I’d rather have either of them over plain vanilla York.
Ask for the first round pick of any of these teams that want York. Then we can draft a good dman with that pick.

I think Briere will make 2 trades, involving York & some draft picks / Brink & some draft picks resulting in getting Marco Rossi from the Wild & Nic Hague from the Knights. It would take a lot more, probably Tippett & more picks to swing a deal for Jason Robertson from Dallas. I figure James Hagens will fall in the draft to them at #6. And Danny might make a play for free agent Shabanov, the next young star from the KHL. Meanwhile the goalie drama continues — Peterson & his $6.5 MILLION DOLLAR cap hit is finally gone, Kosolov is most likely going back to Russia, Fedetov & his huge contract will get demoted to Lehigh Valley. There's already about 5 prospects there — either in injury recovery from last year or too young & not ready yet.

Top 2 players on my expendable list are York and Drysdale. Neither of them are worth the money let alone the roster spot.
York is just an average dman, but the Flyers have to go out of their way to praise him after they passed on Caulfield to take York.

Other than Sanheim the Flyers blueline is garbage. If teams are calling on York I’ll drive him to the airport. If either BUF or ANH are interested, make York part of a package to trade up from #22 back into the top 10 with your second 1st round pick. Take best centre available at #6 and Jackson Smith at 9 or 10.
York is not flashy but he’s actually pretty excellent defensively. Smart player. Give him a bridge deal
