  1. I hope he does stay. He quickly became one of my favorite Canucks. To the point that I have started collecting his cards lol

  2. Trade him to Philly for Owen tippet. Similar production and after this ext contracts are similar. Tippets 6’2 and had almost 30 goals couple years ago and you’d be getting younger

  3. That is a lot of green for a third liner. I thought both Garland and Brock were over paid. In Garlands defense he does a lot more than Brock. If Brock was as dynamic I could reconsider but he is not like that. 6X6 for Boeser and play on that top line. Just be strange having Garland Petey and Kane. Or would DeBrusk be the obvious choice? Still think we should snatch up Jeannot for the second line. For Chytil. Just wonder if O'Connor could play on a second line. He would have to get a scoring touch fast. Or bring up Jonathan. If we did acquire Jeannot we could have a big player on every line if we played Blais on the fourth It would make some 3rd fourth liners expendable..

  4. I really hope we extend Garland. I want a Garland jersey, but I don't want to buy one and then he leaves

  5. I think something's working beyond just Garland's contract extension. It confirms a gentlemen's deal to "sign" before July 1st, allowing the Canucks to have certainty dealing with other potential trades and asset management.

  6. So a few of our friends are Pittsburgh Penguin fans, and they said Rutherford and Alviin ruined that team for the long run by signing players to very long contracts
I said "But Rutherford got them 2 Stanley Cups so who cares!"
    Garland is a 40 – 50 Point guy ,A Work Horse..But hes not worth $6 MILL X 6 Years
They didn't even offer Brock 6 Years
Wish this team still had both Miller 1C and Brock 2RW along with Kane..
    Alviin is Clueless…Fake Chef

  7. One of the worst moves to keep him unless he is lowballed in pay.
    He is a 3rd liner for EP40s sake. A 3rd LINER!!!!!!
