Most people don`t watch the Flyers all year but Poehling is a perfect speedy middle 6 forward. He is excellent shorthanded and can bring a ton of energy to a 3rd line… Flyers take all the risk here but a fair trade for both sides.
Trevor will do much better with this team in ORANGE…
Bad trade by the ducks. What this trade says to me is Verbeek genuinely just doesn’t like zegras what so ever. The timing and return on this deal tells me he just wanted him out. Really dumb. I understand not seeing him being a fit for what he wants but this is just BAD asset management. If he knew he never wanted to keep him he should’ve dealt him years ago. Instead, he and Cronin put him at a disadvantage and tanked his value only to sell him at his absolute lowest. Verbeek is front and center on fraud watch right now. The Gauthier trade is the only thing keeping his head above water at this time.
