I think the Vancouver Canucks need to continue rebuilding its sad that Quinn is asking for a trade
Jack Hughes has come out and said Quinn loves Vancouver and loves being the canucks captain so I don't see him leaving.
Where does that put Brock Boeser in negotiations???
Has Quinn even said anything on the topic of not resigning? No. So where does the 50/50 thing come from? Trolls that is where, and with this continued vehicle you provide for these troll comments/opinions you are just part of the negativity this team has surrounding it. Sad
Yeah Alvin made a lot of signings
Sprong
Heinen
Desharnais
I wonder why they chose Vancouver
Maybe it’s because they suck as hockey players and signed with the only team dumb enough to pay them
DeBrusk was the only decent signing
Forbort was just another bottom pair guy which they already 5 others of
Yeah I bet they are circling back on Suter and Garland cuz they have no assets to make trades with
And guys with NMC NTC ain’t waiving to come to this clown show of team
Good luck scraping the bottom of the barrel on July 1st or overpaying for anyone with any real talent 😂
Would the Canucks trade
Thatcher Demko for Evander Kane, Viljami Marjala & EDM 2027 2nd
Quinn already said HE WILL RESIGN In van no atter what . So now what does this team have to offer besides a BIG fat L every year?
Thats not a discount for duchene… he’ll make more from his Dallas contract than 5.5-6 from Vancouver because of tax’s plus he is making 6.5 on nashvilles cap.
Same as Bennett. 7-7.5 in Florida is the same as 10 elsewhere it’s not a discount. Quit using buzz words. Canucks need to re-sign suter at the very least as a trade chip. They should have done the same with boeser. If Bennett signs suter is gonna be the hottest free agent center on the market.
From what I've been hearing, if Brock can't get the term he wants on the open market on July 1, there's a decent chance he may be willing to reconsider the Canuck's final offer and come back to play out his prime here. IMO that would be ideal as he's already got chemistry with several of our current players and is on the cusp of becoming a veteran winger, which is something the Canucks are a bit short on currently. Especially veteran forwards who aren't moody and temperamental as JT was. I love the talent JT brings, but he's not a role model player due to his temperament. I could see Conner Garland being that, and possibly Brock Boesser on the off chance he stays.
I believe, the longer the JT – EP issue went on , the more the room chose sides . When EP under performed AFTER JT left , those who supported JT are far less likely to be interested in remaining in Van… Shame on Management for allowing this to fester .. Shame
I hope BMB Stays here
I know he won't but damn
Sign leaders and men,NOT petulant , pre-pubescent, Generation Z Swedes and you will change this team from a joke to a contender.
90% chance hughes gets traded next year
There are a lot of teams, who are tiresome, Montreal and Vancouver, a lot of talking but no new players signed. Boring!
Quinns gonna walk as a FA to join his brothers.
So much is FUBAR with this team. Trade all their draft capital away on a cup pipedream. Over pay some guys and for term then a year or so later buy them out. Drive in the ditch for to long no one will want to sit in the passenger seat with you. I can see them trading at least two of our young defensemen for a chance. Just really go all out on screwing things up and losing the fans. It is like having a monkey in the drivers seat. You just don't know what he will do next. Drive into traffic go over a cliff?
lego does rock!
Canucks trade Quinn Hughes this year. Get a huge haul for him. Trade Conor Garland at draft. We had a sample of games without Hughes last year and it wasn't all that bad. If you get a Left shot defenseman, you right back in a solid 6. In 2 years you will have a great young decorps. If you went to Buffalo and said Quinn is in play, what will you offer? We have to rebuild the crest, not the team. You have the team mean something, and people will forget about Miller and Petey. I don't think Garland stays. You have pieces to sell off, Demko, Quinn, Garland, Myers, You have to keep Elias cause we damaged him so much, he needs to rebound. If you trade him, you won't get any value for him, it would be a steal for anyone. Its not really a rebuild, more like a younger retool.
