   I agree,Florida will move heaven and earth to keep the gang all there.I disagree about Marner-he will want the most he can get on a long term deal-that’s how he played in Toronto and I don’t see that changing now.

   My hot take , montreal overpays with its abundance of picks and prospects and trades for dylan larkin , he seems ready for a change and montreal can easily overpay without hurting the roster

   I don't get peoples' issue with Barrett Hayton unless they just aren't watching the games. Counting out a just turned 25 year old after only four seasons seems ridiculous. Did you count out Bennett after his first four seasons? Bennett didn't score over 40 pts until his SEVENTH season! Heck, people drool over Bennett who, in 10 seasons, has had only TWO seasons better than Hayton's last season (51 last year and 49 four seasons ago). Hayton just had 46 points last season (his age 24 season). 43 points in his age 22 season. That's very good for a #3 center. Hayton is certainly better than McBain. McBain is the same age as Hayton, has played three seasons, and his biggest season was 27 pts. If anything, McBain should be our 4C if we get a 2C. .

    Your last two predictions have a snowballs chance in hell of happening. Florida has $21 million in expected cap space to sign 7 players to make a roster. Marchand will probably get a nice $8+ million deal a year over 2 years with his playoff play. Bennett probably gets $7-$9 million a year over 4-5 years and Ekblad isn't signing for much less than what he just made. I think two come back not three your looking at Bennett or Marchand plus Ekblad. As for Detroit I can't see them wanting Karlsson making $11.5 million over the next two years unless Pittsburgh takes Holl and Chariot and Pittsburgh wouldn't do that. I'd expect Detroit to be in on Dobson or one of Buffalos defensemen

    No my interest in MAILLOUX whatsoever the Islanders wouldn’t give anything for him. He’s got a bad reputation and we wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole. Montreal keeps offering garbage and they can keep their garbage and not getting Horvat unless they offer something of real value, not the shit that they keep offering

    Buffalo isn't trading for Dobson. Why would Buffalo pay 3 defensemen that play the same style 8+ million?
    If that was the case, why not just re-sign Byram and give him power play time?

    Detroit just doesn't have any equity to get and keep Karlsson.
    
    They're already still waiting for future considerations from more than 3 dealings.
    
    Not a chance Karlssons going to Detroit.
    They are done and spent with trying to revive past careers like Tarasenko.
