I think this is kind of odd. His value is fairly low. I suppose the team could package him in a trade. But who? Would rather see a player on the team go. Not a prospect. We have a surplus of bottom six players that are good. Open up some cap space to get another player. Abby has a couple guys to replace anyone who gets traded. And maybe get a late pick also.
Either Demko or Arty is getting traded before October. The one with the most trade value will be the one to go. They need a center really bad and their first round pick is not attracting much interest as half the teams are willing to move their first round picks for this year because it is a bad draft year. My guess is they are trying to sign Demko to increase the value of that asset and even if they sign him they can still trade him over the next year. It is way better to have a player like Demko under some term when it comes to trading him, especially with the cap going up so much, alledgedly.
i know we just signed lankinen but i would rather trade him over demko or silovs
If Jordan Kyrou is available like some reports are saying, package up Silovs, 15th pick, d-man Pettersson for JK
I won't be surprised if the Vancouver management shoot themselves in the foot again lol.
Trade away the future for mediocrity now.
I don't get it… so is Silovs traded or is he still a Canuck.
Option 3. They trade Lankinen
Why would we trade Silvos now? Yeah value is high…. because he has proven himself to be the starter for a NHL team. And best of all, this dude often do much better in the playoffs than regular season, just when the team needed it the most. We better charge an arm and a leg if we trade him away.
TRADE DEMKO FFS MAN GET RID OF HIM!!!!!
How about we offer Silovs, Joshua and the 15th pick to Columbus for Sean Monahan and Columbus' 20th pick. Losing the 3.25 million cap hit for Joshua mitigates the 5.5 million hit Monahan would be and the Canucks would still have somewhere around 4.8 million for Suter or someone else to fill out the middle six.
Another clico bait video with no info
I knew they would sign Demko
Gotta resign Demko if they can for $5.5 Mill X2 Years
Need 2 Solid Goalies
Silovs is great in the AHL
He needs to work on his Point shots
Just dont trade anyone to Edm
We dont want them to win
Silvos stays Demko must be moved. Silvos is way younger and way more athletick. Keep youth move older guys.
Trade Demko,he gets hurt too much, and he has the most experience that other teams might want.
Demko is a piece of glass trade him he gets hurt again next year hes worth notbing
We are not trading Silovs buddy, silvos is our future, stop talking out of your rear.
