  1. Man Larkin was on pace for 52 goals before 4 nations face off. I get all hockey players want to compete on a national stage, but Larkin could have possibly had by far his career best season had he not worn himself out at 4 nations.

    Edit: for those seemingly confused by this very simple comment.

    ​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠Larkin had 8 goals in 12 games to start the season which put him on pace for 55 goals this season. Even in November when his production slightly dipped, he was still on pace for 50 goals. So yes before the break, during the first quarter of this season until the end of November he was on pace for +50 goals this season. his production dipped in December and January but still would have reached a career high in goals had his production not continued to decline after 4 nations.
