  1. Brock Boeser is a great kid and I've loved his time with the Canucks. They offered him 8, and he turned it down, he decided it wasn't enough. I think 8 was more than fair. He's a great player, but he's slow. The amount of whining is unbelievable. If Pettersson is unable to get along with everyone, that's a him problem. He's 26 years old, Pettersson is no longer a child.

  2. He scores goals, he is cheaper than Brock… who BTW was gone the moment they traded Miller away… Kane has decent wheels for a guy as big as he is, great in the offensive zone in the corners and especially infront ot the net. I honestly could give a fuck about decent human beings, it's about having a top 6 that produces and a team that competes

  3. Kane comin back with something to prove.. Hope he stays healthy and has a great season. Nucks should be able to resign Boeser too if he wants to stay. A lot of assumptions being tossed around, and no dressing room insider reports. Where's the Jack Websters of Canuck reporting in that town?

  4. you failed to mention that Boeser is almost too slow to keep up now and is demanding an 8 year deal that will be a buyout by 2029/2030.

  5. Boeser wanting long term and at 8 million vs Kane for 1 year at 5.5 million. Cmon this was the better move. Kane has something to prove to get another deal. Boeser is a good player but no way will he age well especially if it’s more than 5 years. Kane was a good signing by Nucks brass.

  6. Evander's off-ice issues are far behind him, he did a lot of great work to help marginalized communities in Northern Alberta, and he stands up for his teammates, from the superstars to the fourth liners. He's a strong net front presence joining a team that needs some sandpaper. Oh, and it's his hometown team! If he can keep the silly penalties to a minimum, it's a win for the Canucks.

  7. I agree with everything you said in the video
    Loved Brock…
Hughes is gone in less than 2 years
    Alviin should be fired
He pissed off Brock by talking sht about him and then they trade Miller
    WTF…Management Bums

  8. It’s a low-risk move with the potential to get an impact player for the next 1 to 3 years at a reasonable cap hit. Brock will do well on the open market and will probably be closer to a cup with the team he decides to sign with – unless it’s with Tocchet in Philly of course! You can’t worry about Edmonton until you face them in the playoffs! Is Kuzmenko coming back? It would be at a reasonable cap hit with the hope of another 25 – 30 goals in the lineup!

  9. Cam you should just stick to evaluating prospects. Since Boeser injured his wrist he lost the ability to shoot from distance. He only tips pucks or collects garbage goals. Hes way too slow for the NHL. And needs a play driver. Kane is fast, shoots from wherever, hits everything that moves, and can pass the puck. Cam you should jeep the past, in the past. Stop criticizing players that play the sport you never could. You freaking gomer.

  10. I've always like you Cam, but your only half right. Podkolzin honestly was no loss. And your under selling what Kane brings to the table. I know Brocks a quality human being. Quality human beings don't necessarily win cups. Case in point Marchand.

  11. This trade has the potential to go in either direction. Kane has a history of playing his best in a contract year, but there are also the obvious floating variables of his age, injury history, and much discussed anger management issues. Fingers crossed that we get the best version this hard nosed local veteran player. At very least, we'll have a response if someone staples EP or Quinn into the boards. That's something I can get behind all day every day.

  12. Cam Robinson is being extremely emotional on this reaction, not a good look. It’s literally a 1 year deal, as opposed to Brock wanting a 6 to 8 year deal. Also a lot cheaper. Apples and oranges Cam.

  13. Well, what do you expect from a franchise that hasn't won in 55 years. They're going to let Boeser walk for nothing; it reeks of ownership sticking their fucking nose in management again. The idea they couldn't get any decent offers for him at the deadine and then decided to make a playoff push which fell flat on its face a week later stinks to high hell of Aquilini trying to make a few million extra bucks to pay that bloated 88 million dollar contract in #40.

Kane is a meathead, but the Canucks aren't going to make the playoffs. I guess the only real risk is that he bullies EP40 for being soft. There's far too many uncertainties. Demko is 50/50. EP40, who the hell knows what his problem is but that has the potential to be one of the largest dud contracts in NHL history. Chytil is a write-off. Tocchet left because of sleuth of stupid bullshit.

  14. You said it about Boeser he is a finisher and that is it. He is like the guy who is rarely late for dinner. Kane has a lot more to give. And saying he is a problem before he gets here is nonsensical. He was not a problem in Edmonton.

  15. Boeser plays bad defense and doesn’t always drive pay either. Great guy, and great player for Canucks at the right price. He’s not aging well, and this is the business of winning so I can see why they may move on from boeser and we do need grit. Everyone complained about watching Hughes get pushed around this should help a bit. Let’s be optimistic here, Kane was good for the oilers and he’s matured.

  16. Boeser wants to play at home in Minnesota. They just moved out Gaudreau, so chances are they cleared space to sign him. It’s his own choice to leave— not theirs.
