  1. The said part is I dont trust Steve Y to make the right moves. He has not did a good job so far in Trades or FA in 6yrs

  2. We need a Nick Seeler or someone like him at defense. His +/- stats on a weak Philadelphia team were excellent at +10.. Almost every other player in Philadelphia had a freezing +/- stats.. for example Jamie Drysdale -32 or Travis Sanheim -6..

  3. The way I see it big trade or no big trade(s) will determine if SY is in the hotseat. Or he just plunges again into the UFA market head first as he thinks the roster is close to the playoffs.
His friend Verbeek is in the hotseat already and made what seems to be a hasty move for minimal return on Zegras according to most Ducks fans. SY apparently did not want Zegras?

  4. The wings already have a right shot D in Seider and Axel-Sandin Pelikka is an upcoming right shot D man. Seems a bit strange to hear the wings being in on another high dollar right shot D

  5. The Red Wings are the LAZIEST front office in the NHL. Steve Yzerman KNOWS that he has this job for life, so he couldn't care LESS about winning.

  6. Antti Tuomisto…. Yzerman just gave him an extra year to make the team. 24 yrs old, R shot, 6’5” 210+ and he doesn’t cost 6-10 million. NCAA Champion too. Been groomed in Grand Rapids already.

  7. Tuomisto and Pellikka (same build as Yzerman, probably a better skater, and gifted like Datsyuk). Chiarot and Petry are expendable.

  8. While I have no doubt that teams are calling about Andersson… to call it a bidding war, with no other legit insiders reporting it as such, is a bit of a stretch and click bait-y.

  9. Flames want to get in top 10. Thought Buffalo for that #9 & need of a RHS top 4 but after trade today, maybe not so much & doubt Andersen would go there & extend. Was thinking how about Andersen & the #18 to Bruins for the #7? Flames get a shot at that C prospect they've been drooling for. Columbus is a good fit Sillinger & the #14?
